Instead of cooking the Thanksgiving Feast, my daughter and her family and I are spending the night before and after Thanksgiving in Houston. We plan to attend the HEB Christmas parade, Thanksgiving morning, and drive out to a Christmas Park that evening. We are looking for a place to have lunch and were wondering if you have a list of restaurants that will be open and receiving guests? Also, could you recommend a good place to park to see the parade? Are there going to be any restroom facilites available? (Since I will have my grandchildren there.) Is there anything special going on at the children's museum the Friday after Thanksgiving?...Or anything special that my grandchildren would enjoy that Friday?
