Bayou City Art Festival - Downtown

What to Expect
A juried fine art festival featuring 300 artists representing 19 distinct art media—from photography to sculpture, jewelry and textile making, mixed media, wood designs, pottery and much more. Art lovers enjoy pedestrian promenades lined with artists’ booths where they may easily interact with artists one-on-one.

Only in Houston
This festival, ranked No. 3 in the U.S. by AmericanStyle magazine, transforms the heart of Houston's business center into a one-of-a-kind urban outdoor art gallery. Its centerpiece is "Art on Water," the city's only juried floating art exhibit, which takes place in and on the City Hall Reflection Pool. "Art on Water" will feature 10 to 15 original art works—floating, kinetic or stationary (anchored).

While in town, you have to see...
Featured artist Kimber Fiebiger's whimsical Texas-sized Humpty Dumpty bronze sculptures and the new Epicurean Adventure, which boasts wine tastings and professional chefs' cooking demonstrations
