Houston's main assets are their warm people and gracious hospitality.  That makes Houston a special place.

People are most likely to find us at Central Market, Sun & Ski Sports, The Galleria, Smith & Wollensky having drinks with friends or at Farrago or The Lodge at Bayou Bend for brunch on Sundays.

Our perfect days differ a little. 
Joyce:   Morning jog or bike ride around Memorial Park, lunch at Cafe Express, massage at Bella Rinova or Massage Envy, shopping at The Galleria, then off to a fabulous dinner at Armando's restaurant.
Uchenna: Sunday brunch then off to afternoon polo.

Houston has a large variety of styles which makes it great for people like us.  Our restaurant list can go on and on, so we'll  name a few:  Ruggles, Ibiza, Armando's, Pesce, all of the five-star steak houses, Rickshaw, Uptown Sushi, The Lodge at Bayou Bend and Farrago, to name a few. 

For shopping, it's, of course, Sun & Ski Sports (we went to them to outfit us for both Amazing Race reality TV shows we were on), The Galleria and Uptown Park--you can't miss these places!

Houston's best kept secret is downtown's live theater.  There's an incredible variety of top quality live theater and entertainment venues right there in downtown's center.  You can find everything  from sports events at the Toyota Center to first-rate broadway plays at the Hobby Center. 

We're amazed and constantly inspired by the amount of attention that Houstonians place on philanthrophy.  Helping others and having that giving spirit is a motivating force in our lives as well.   We'll never run out of wonderful things to say about Houston!
