 Carlos Lee
Outfielder, Houston Astros

Houston is a city that you can do anything in. We have great restaurants and great shopping. This is an exciting town with plenty to do year-round.

What surprised me the most about Houston is the weather! When I first got here, I realized the weather is exactly like Panama. I felt like I was right at home.

The fan support for my first year with the Astros was amazing. This is definitely a baseball town. There's nothing like the Los Caballitos (fan group). They didn't miss a single game last year. Before every game, I run out to left field and tip my hat to them. There's nothing like playing at home.

When I am not at playing baseball, I am on my ranch in Wharton working with my cattle.

Being a cattle man myself, I really enjoy Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. The steaks are amazing.

My friends and family usually come to see me play at Minute Maid Park, but if they want a change of scenery, I tell them to visit The Galleria. They can also go for a drive around Houston. It's not too long before you are out of the city and in the country. It is a beautiful drive.
