The PEOPLE! Hospitality at its best!

When your family and friends are in town where do you suggest they go? Shop? Eat?

I always send people to the museum and sporting events. I’m not a big shopper, so I’m not the best person to ask about that. I do love to eat, and my favorite restaurants are Ibiza, Cyclone Anaya, Grotto and Molina’s.

What’s an event that you never miss in Houston?

Watching the Rockets play at the Toyota Center.

Biography

I began my career in the hospitality industry at the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau in 1987, then worked at the Sheraton Astrodome and the Dallas CVB. Even though I still live in Dallas, I returned to the GHCVB in 2003 once I saw the incredible development happening around the city. I knew I had to promote it. I’ve worked the national association market for the past 20 years.

Attended Texas A&M University and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a business degree.
