Biography

Ed Dramberger is National Account Executive for Corporate Northeast accounts for the Greater Houston and Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Dramberger was promoted last year from Tourism Marketing Manager where he was responsible for Europe, Asia and the Middle East market. Mr. Dramberger has been working in the Tourism industry for over 20 years. His responsibilities include, promoting Houston as a Convention destination thru sales and marketing efforts.

Prior to the Convention and Visitors Bureau, he was Director of Tourism at Del Mar College, and and a professor at Virginia Tech University. He has also taught in Africa and Switzerland at hotel tourism colleges. Ed has worked in sales and marketing capacities within the Hotel industry and is a certified meeting planner. He has spoken at numerous tourism conferences and has published articles in travel trade journals. Ed holds an MBA in International marketing, Masters in Hospitality Management and has a PhD in International marketing/ tourism.
