What makes Houston special?

Houston is special because of it’s diversity in people and various types of cuisines offered. It is a people friendly city!

When your family and friends are in town where do you suggest they go? Shop? Eat?

When friends or family are in town I always suggest they visit the Museum District and NASA. I suggest they shop and eat at the Galleria because there are so many choices available.

What’s an event that you never miss in Houston?

I always go to the Rodeo and at least one of the many festivals offered.

Biography

I was and born and raised in Petersburg VA by my loving parents, George and Lessie Ellis. I have one older sister and one younger brother.

I attended Elementary and High school in Petersburg VA. Upon graduation from high school I left VA to attend Tennessee State University in Nashville TN, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management.

I have worked in the hospitability industry for the past 23 years. I worked for Continental Airlines for 6 years in Sales. Then worked for several hotels in Sales, in Houston and Atlanta for a total of 8 years. I am currently with the GHCVB in Sales, for the past 8 years.
