When your family and friends are in town where do you suggest they go? Shop? Eat?

All the major sites are a must, Museum District, the Zoo, Downtown Aquarium, Johnson Space Center/Kemah are a must, and of course, Galveston Island.

Eat: Anywhere and Everywhere, we have so many choices my only problem is selecting a place.

What’s an event that you never miss in Houston?

The Uptown Lighting for the beginning of the holiday season. It has become a traditional event in my family.

Biography

I was born and raised on the East Coast, so going back to DC to be part of opening team for the DC Office was something that I had always wanted to do.  It's very exciting and a whole new beginning for me. 

Virginia Union University, VA Commonwealth University and U of H are all schools that I have attended.  Over the course of my 30-something year career in the hospitality industry, I have worked in most of the major hotel chains.  I understand the business.

Family is everything to me - my Mother, my brother, 2 sons and 4 grandchildren and most recently getting engaged to my high school classmate.  Life Couldn't Be Better!
