Learn at Lunch Series

Undecided about lunch?  Why not use your lunch hour to expand your global horizons while tasting international finger foods?

The Protocol department hosts the Learn at Lunch program with three programs in the spring and three in the fall.  This six-part series provides Houstonians with a window into other cultures, as well as informing them of the work of the 90-member consular corps. Some examples of past programs have included a Japanese tea ceremony, Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago, a Journey through Senegal and Klompendansers from the Netherlands.

Learn at Lunch programs are free and open to the public.  No reservations are necessary. Programs are one hour in duration and begin at noon. They are an alternative way to spend your lunch hour and a great way to learn about other cultures and international initiatives.

To find out more about upcoming programs, contact the Protocol Department at 713-227-3395.
