Suitcase Project

 
The Suitcase Project is an outreach program sponsored by the Protocol Office,  designed to acquaint Houston-area 5th and 6th grade students with the culture and history of the nations that have consular representation or a sister city relationship with the City of Houston. Each suitcase is packed with a compact collection of items that can be used to teach a geography or social studies lesson, many include toys, currency, newspapers, and instruments. The suitcases are available to Houston Independent School District teachers, administrators by contacting the Protocol office at 713-227-3395. Suitcases include:
