Score another accolade for Hotel Sorella in CityCentre. The three-year-old boutique West Houston property was named Lifestyle Hotel of the Year at the Boutique & Lifestyle Hospitality Awards this week.
The awards, handed out by the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association at its annual event in Miami, honor properties in six categories. Sorella took the top spot in the lifestyle category.
The Betsy Hotel in Miami Beach took Boutique Hotel of the Year and Jonathan Plutzik, principal owner of that property, took home the title Boutique & Lifestyle Hotelier of the Year.
Style and design as well as upscale amenities, food & beverage and customer focus, all factored in to Hotel Sorella being chosen among the nation's hundreds of boutique properties.
"The Awards celebrated some of the best-of-the-best in the boutique/lifestyle sector", says Frances Kiradjian, Founder & Chair of BLLA. "These properties and individual hotelier, who made it to the top of the list, will be promoting their awards for the next 12 months in recognition of their achievements."
Sorella has twice previously earned a spot on the Condé Nast Gold List and been cited by Fortune magazine as one of the best business hotels in the country.
