Times: Daily Audio Tours

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, presents a Hamilton-themed audio tour of the Bayou Bend Collection relating to the Pulitzer-prize and 11 Tony-award winning musical Hamilton, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The tour highlights numerous artifacts relating to the life and world of Alexander Hamilton, along with several that link
to characters and events depicted in the hit musical.

Objects in the audio guide include a leaf-shaped stand that belonged to George Washington; a roundabout chair owned by Philip Schuyler, Alexander Hamilton’s father in-law; and a print of Alexander Hamilton, honoring him for his service in the Continental Army and as the nation’s first Secretary of the Treasury. Visitors can explore the history behind the popular theatrical sensation with their cell phone and the audio guide.
