Texas Contemporary, Houston's premier modern and contemporary art fair, returns to the George R. Brown Convention Center this September 29th - October 2nd. Texas Contemporary’s highly anticipated sixth edition will solidify the fair as an international influencer within the art world, highlighting the tradition of creativity and artistic patronage that is essential to and synonymous with the city of Houston.
Joining the fair's fifty top local, national, and international galleries are New York City's ZIEHERSMITH and Manhattan and Buenos Aires based Henrique Faria Fine Art, both making their Texas Contemporary debut this fall. Galeria Enrique Guerrero will return to the fair along with Other Criteria, Frederieke Taylor, Joseph Gross Gallery, ACA Galleries, JONATHAN FERRARA GALLERY, Walker Waugh, Galerie Nicolas Robert as well as Houston tastemakers Betty Moody Gallery, Inman Gallery, Barbara Davis Gallery, David Shelton Gallery, and Cindy Lisica Gallery.
Texas Contemporary is pleased to present the second edition of its celebrated focus section The Other Mexico. This year features five emerging spaces from four different cities - Mexico City, Guadalajara, Oaxaca, and Monterrey - including josegarcia, Parallel Oaxaca, Lulu, and FIFI projects. Produced in partnership with the Mexican Consulate in Houston, the program highlights the city's special ties to the galleries, artists, collectors, and tastemakers of Mexico and Central America. To learn more about Texas Contemporary please visit txcontemporary.com
