It’s been more than 15 years since Betty Newton and Cristiana Anderson launched their accessories biz, à bientôt. The duo is known for their array of jewelry, bags and scarves, many of which are culled from locations all around the globe.

After operating the popular boutique across from Lamar High School for more than a decade, à bientôt moved in summer 2011—just around the corner on River Oaks Boulevard. The new, larger space—set in the former Indulge Linens Décor—is a prime location for displaying the boutique’s array of statement-making bracelets, cocktail rings, earrings and necklaces. à bientôt also carries laid-back, preppy clothing, shoes and giftables like Lily Pulitzer paper goods and Jonathan Adler notebooks—only two of the more than 250 lines the store stocks.
