The first Houston outpost of Dallas Salvadorian-meets-Mexican chain Gloria's opened Midtown in June 2012.

Expect a modern yet elegant atmosphere, along with authentic Mexican and Salvadorian dishes--including award-winning margaritas and black bean dip. A few other menu favorites: the grilled pork tenderloin fajitas, ceviche tostadas and the sour cream chicken enchiladas.

Monday through Thursday enjoy $5 mojitos, margaritas, house wine and sangria all day. On weekends, the dining room is cleared to make room for a live band and salsa dancing.
