Owned by veteran club developer Charles Armstrong, Montrose Mining Company is one of the gayborhoods’ oldest and much-loved leather and levi bars. The mixed crowd—everything from men in flannel shirts to polished young professionals—come for a laid-back party scene seven days a week.
Inside, dance-pop, video machines and pool tables keep patrons happy, as do the fun-to-look-at table-dancing go-go boys. In back, a spacious two-level patio lends itself to conversation and makes a prime perch for sneaking a smoke or sipping on one of MMC’s wallet-friendly and dangerously strong drinks. It’s also a hotspot for people watching along Pacific Street.
Stop by for daily drink specials and happy hour from 4PM to 10PM.
