Channel your inner artist at one of Houston’s popular Pinot’s Palette adult art classes. Set in a little art studio, on the edge of Montrose and Midtown, the weekly events combine local artist-led painting courses with BYOB beverages and snacks.
Every class features a specific subject theme (Texas Bluebonnets, Houston skyline and Van Gogh’s Crysanthemums, for example) and step-by-step instruction so that even novice artists can keep up. Upon arrival, guests are provided a canvas, easel, brushes, acrylic paints and an apron. For those hoping to sit with their friends, P&P is happy to accommodate requests, if given a little notice.
Although the organization does not provide drinks or appetizers to groups, they do have wine glasses, corkscrews, ice buckets, plates, napkins and silverware on hand. Visit the Pinot’s Palette website to enroll, but do it early, as classes fill up quickly.
