Heights’ residents have a new place to snag comfort food at the just-opened, rustic-chic Zelko Bistro. Set inside a 1920s bungalow, the intimate, 45-seat space is warmly-inviting, marked by wooden floors, butcher-block tables, antique Ball jar pendant lights and a shiplap ceiling.
Lancaster Hotel alum chef Jamie Zelko have teamed up with former Shade chef Jeb Stuart for the venture, offering a seasonally-changing menu that highlights local ingredients and American fare. Find playful dishes like the Captain’s Crunch Fried Chicken and Funnel Cake, plus locally-made goods like Slow Dough bread, St. Arnold’s Root Beer and Katz Coffee at work on Zelko’s menu.
The new spot is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday, and brunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday.
