Arthur Ave Italian American in the historic Heights neighborhood dishes up rustic, hearty classics inspired by the Italians who emigrated to the U.S., settling in New York City, Philadelphia and Boston. Chef William Wright takes the helm of this new eatery following a successful launch of Helen Greek Food and Wine, a concept which received a James Beard nomination in 2016 for Best New Restaurant.
Chef Wright’s long-held passion for Italian-American shines in his dishes, which are simple, straight forward with a modern spin. Start with a side of polenta fries, and then lean into a dish of Italian sausage, peppers and heirloom tomatoes. Want to try everything? Family-style dining is encouraged so there is no need to choose just one thing.
Arthur Ave is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
