Set in a former Washington Mutual branch on Holcombe Boulevard, Jerry Built Burgers opened in February 2012, serving hungry Houstonians gourmet burgers made with locally-sourced ingredients.
Inside, the loft-like space strikes a blend between industrial design and farmhouse chic. Rustic lighting features hover over stainless steel seating, beneath an exposed ventilation system and hanging plant installations. On the menu, diners can select from hormone-free burgers, chicken sandwiches and chili dogs, topped with locally-grown and organic vegetables and specialty condiments. Jerry Built also turns out full, yet crunch, russet and sweet potato fries, prepared using a two-step French frying method, along with freshly-squeeze lemonade. Save room for the Gingerbull cookies—made using the famous gingerbread men recipe from Three Brothers Bakery.
Jerry Built is open for lunch and dinner daily.
