Don’t expect peace and quiet at Montrose’s Pax Americana, the recently-opened biz is all abuzz with patrons digging into modern American fare in a Craftsman-style space.
The lively restaurant, located in the former Thai Sticks spot, is a collaborative effort between restaurateurs Shephard Ross, Dan and Mark Zimmerman and chef Adam Dorris. Inside, wooden floors mix with clean white woodwork, soft lighting and Carrera accenting. Grab a seat on the patio or in one of the banquettes and dig into land and sea offerings like the Gulf tilefish or braised Berkshire pork collar. Save room for the horchata ice cream.
Pax Americana is open for dinner, Tuesday through Sunday nights.
