SaltAir Seafood Kitchen is the latest brainchild of the Clark Cooper Concepts team who run such Houston restaurants as Punks Simple Southern Food, Ibiza, Brasserie 19 and Coppa Osteria. The seafood kitchen offers light and fresh fare that will take diners on a journey to the Californian coast -- think caviar, raw oysters, steamed lobster, tartare and more.
Along with seafood, diners can make a meal of the veggie options: grilled asparagus with orange mustard sauce; roasted carrots with harissa, yogurt and pistachio; cucumbers mixed with honeydew melon, almonds and sweet sake vinaigrette; and roasted radishes with butter, sea salt and pesto to name just a few.
But the menu doesn’t stop there. For meat lovers there are plenty of hearty options including lamb chops with mint pesto and quinoa, Cornish hen with Meyer lemon and herbs spinach and beef filet with potatoes.
