Chef Ryan Hildebrand—who most recently served as Executive Chef of the Heights’ now-defunct Textile restaurant—has struck out on his own with a progressive American concept in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood. At Triniti, Hildebrand touts a menu filled with seasonally-inspired dishes, served in a sleek and open space.

Inside the 5,400-square-foot building, which was most recently home to Pravada, Hildebrand tapped MC2 Architects to design a casually-contemporary restaurant blending wood and metal elements with concrete and glass accents. There’s also an exhibition kitchen with a chef’s table and counter seating, which provides guests with an interactive dining experience. On the weekly-changing menu, diners will find artistically-plated dishes like the snapper with sunchoke puree, Texas quail with duck sausage stuffing and roasted pear and honeycomb ice cream, along with a drink line-up that focuses on classic, Champagne and “Nouvelle Vague” (new wave) cocktails.

Triniti is open for lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday, and dinner-only service Saturday and Sunday.
