Day 1

Day 2
Space Center Houston
Being the official Visitor Center of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, the Starship Gallery Journey begins in Destiny Theater with the 12 minute feature of “On Human Destiny” which traces the history of the manned space program. Observe three capsules that were actually flown in space, mock-ups that were used for astronaut training and exploration and the new pioneers’ area. The last activity, NASA tram tours, consists of a behind the scenes guided tour to Johnson Space Center including the Historical Mission Control Center and the International Space Station Shuttle Mock-up facility where astronauts receive their training. www.spacecenter.org
Stop-over at Kemah Boardwalk, where the warm gulf breezes and sparkling coastal waters welcome more visitors each day. Kemah got its name from an Indian word meaning “wind in the face”.
