Texas Ranch Life Bed & Breakfast

Enjoy the peace and quiet of country life on the 1,800 acre Lonesome Pine Ranch, originally settled in 1823 by one of Stephen F. Austin's "Old 300." This working ranch is home to quarter horses, American bison, abundant wildlife, and one of the country's largest registered Texas longhorn herds.



With five authentically restored and luxuriously appointed historic Texas homes dating back to the 1850s. They feature original paint and stenciling and are furnished with wonderful antiques, oriental rugs, and Texas pieces. Accommodations for up to 45 people with conference facilities are available. Great for romantic getaways, weddings, parties, family reunions, company picnics, and corporate retreats.



The Ranch Headquarters is the hub of the working ranch activities and features a covered arena with viewing stands; two round training pens; a 22-stall horse barn; and the ranch office, including bedroom & bath, conference facilities, and game room with a pool table. The ranch is also available for group tours.



There's a myriad of things to do at Texas Ranch Life, from riding horses to riding the couch. From catching that big fish or sitting by a fire and just tellin' the story about it. Getting out and doing the western 'thang' or just hiding away in the tranquility.
