Picnic

This sky-blue cafe is owned by the Raven folks next door. Long indoor picnic tables anchor the space, often dotted with locals lunching on tuna salad. Picnic bakes artisan breads and hence specializes in sandwiches. Faves: smoked turkey with avocado and char-grilled veggie with goat cheese. No picnic would be complete without pimento cheese or sun-dried tomato chicken salad. Star attractions in the pastry case include lemony blueberry muffins, luscious cranberry loaves, carrot cake and assorted cheesecakes buzzing with whimsical dragonflies.

Box lunch combos include a sandwich on sliced sourdough, chips, huge cookie and side salad. Breakfast boxes are also convenient for corporate catering.
