Downtown Green Market is a new project of the Central City Co-Op, bringing Central City’s produce shares and other products to the downtown Houston community.

Open market purchases are available on a first-come, first served basis. There is an assortment of seasonal, all organic vegetables and fruit available for sale. Some products are local (grown within 200 miles of downtown); others are nationally distributed. Every effort is made to price competitively.

Downtown Green Market is working to bring you an assortment of farmers and other vendors who will be selling their wares on market day. Support local agriculture and learn about the sustainable practices of businesses in the area! Come to market, see and learn.

Downtown Green Market is located on the Andrea and Bill White Promenade of Discovery Green. Parking is available in a variety of locations around the park for varying prices.

Noon-4pm, except during August.
Pre-pay your shares with your PayPal account by ordering online. You may also pre-order in person at the market for a future date and pay by cash or check.

You may also shop open market without pre-ordering, and shop with our farmers and vendors each week in open market for an assortment of products. Support local farmers and craftspeople!
