Traders Village - Houston

Traders Village is Houston’s largest, most visited flea marketplace with more than 100-acres of open-air shopping, festivals and special events every weekend. The outdoor market, which covers more than 105 acres, hosts an average of 1000 merchants and about one million bargain-seekers each year.

The mom-and-pop environment lets customers peruse the wares of 800 dealers, while also enjoying two special-event venues and an RV park. Special attractions include rides for kids, numerous food stands and restaurants, as well as special events. Many well-known performers, such as Johnny Dee & The Rocket 88s regularly perform at Traders Village.

The 45,000 square foot Red Event Expo is available for events. It has access to water, power and has an 800 square foot concert stage. There is easy drive-in and guest access from the south parking lot. Adjacent to the Red Expo is the grassed event arena with bleacher seating for 1,000. Power and water connnections are available. The expos may be Utilized on weekdays and select weekend dates.

Traders Village has been named Houston’s No. 1 Free Attraction for three consecutive years by the Houston Business Journal and Houston’s Best Flea Market in 2005 by the Houston Press.

The annual Bayou City Cajun Festival, Texas Championship Indian Pow Wow and Cricket Wireless Concert Series are just a few of the special events staged regularly at the market.

Traders Village is open every Saturday and Sunday.
