| One of Houston's best kept secrets is Mercury Baroque. Antoine Plante is conductor and founder of this young, cool and incredibly sexy chamber orchestra in its seventh year. Just in time to cool off from those sweltering summer days, Mercury Baroque dives into the first concert of its 2007-08 season with Handel’s famous Water Music on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. in the Wortham Center’s Cullen Theater. Also on the program, is Rebel’s Les Elements.call 713-533-0080 or visit www.MercuryBaroque.org |
