Service is casual but crisp, the relatively economical menu concise and the furnishings as well turned out as anything you'll find in the toniest of places. Given its location in the shadow of the ostentatious Galleria, Crapitto's unassuming grace is refreshing and remarkable.

Carnivores will be happy with a hefty veal chop slathered in Rocquefort. Eggplant enthusiasts must try the Julio appetizer, with delicate slices fried golden without the usual sogginess. Pasta lovers shouldn't miss Grandma's Lasagna. There's also an appealing by-the-glass wine assortment.
