Fresh donuts, kolaches and coffee are prepared on-site throughout the day at this classic Houston confectionary outpost. This shop is conveniently located in Houston's Third Ward between Texas Southern University and the University of Houston and adjacent to Jack Yates Sr. High School.

The first batch of glazed donuts comes out of the oven each morning just before opening.

Although they aren't all available at one time, Shipley's has 63 different donut recipes in its regular rotation.

Spread across six states, Shipley's corporate headquarters is based in Houston where it oversees more than local 80 stores.
