» Otto's Barbecue and Hamburgers

Founded in 1950 by Annie and Otto Sofka, the original all-American, wood-paneled hole-in-the-wall is still a favorite among all walks of life. It's safe to say that Otto's is experienced in the barbecue and burger department. Guests of the male persuasion retreat to the picnic tables out back and also chow down inside in front of the television on weekends.

The barbecued beef, ribs, links, pork, chicken and turkey is slow-cooked, juicy and tender served with a lean, vinegar-edged, smoky sauce. Big spuds topped with beef or turkey plus the mandatory potato salad and beans round out the barbecue menu. Assorted drippy burgers are prepared next door along with homemade pie and cake of the day, kid-friendly sandwiches, root beer, draft beer and such.
