A new concept to the Houston shopping scene just popped up with the opening of 310 Rosemont. The new denim bar and boutique in River Oaks Shopping Center features a floor-to-ceiling bar that serves up premium denim lines like 1921, Joe’s, Paige, William Rast and True Religion--as well as premium cocktails. The “bartenders” on staff serve up a great pair of jeans, along with something to sip while you admire yourself in the mirror. 310 Rosemont is about destination shopping, and will stay open later in the evening to cater to pedestrian traffic and people who need a little last-minute something before heading out at night.

310 Rosemont is a collaborative effort, owned by Ellis and Carl Eaves (the duo also owns Belvedere Lounge in Uptown Park), Will Davis (who formerly owned Redstitch) and Winter Hodges, who currently owns 310 Rosemont stores in Virginia and Tennessee. The name comes from the street Hodges lived on when he was growing up.

The design details alone are worth a browse. An art installation by the Art Guys draws your eye upward toward suitcases flashing famous fashion sayings. The mod-style club chairs are upholstered in the same Paul Smith fabric that matches a line carried in the store.
