Following the success of RA Sushi Bar Restaurant’s first Houston location in Highland Village, the stylishly-edgy restaurant recently opened a second outpost in West Houston’s vibrant CityCentre development. Set near the Beltway 8 and I-10 West interchange, the restaurant continues to bring guests the hip atmosphere and fresh, signature sushi that faithful fans have come to expect.

The new 5,000-square-foot RA location—which is set on the second floor of the pedestrian-friendly development—is surrounded by lofts, shopping and the luxury Hotel Sorella. Upon entering, guests are greeted by Asian-influenced accents like glowing, bamboo-style lanterns, red globes suspended from the ceiling and artwork of a stunning, Samurai sword-wielding woman. Energetic music plays throughout, giving RA an upbeat, fresh vibe.

The restaurant does offer a menu of traditional sashimi dishes and served-to-order sushi, along with innovative and progressive signature rolls like the Toosty Maki and house-favorite Viva Las Vegas—a lightly tempura battered creation that pairs spicy tuna, crab and sliced lotus root.
