 » Addisaba Ethiopian Restaurant

Address: 7668 De Moss Drive
Houston, TX 77036
(Map It)
Phone: 713-995-0333

Inside this sparsely decorated restaurant behind Sharpstown Mall, a mix of expats and adventurous eaters huddles around tables or stares at the main dining room's big screen TV. Meals are traditionally served on a large common plate with a side of injera flatbread used as a utensil. Menu standouts include kifto (a spicy steak tartare), hearty stews with lamb or chicken (called yedoro wot), spicy vegetables and sampler platters that allow a taste of everything. Full bar.

Menu standouts include kifto (a spicy steak tartare), hearty stews with lamb or chicken (called yedoro wot), spicy vegetables and sampler platters that allow a taste of everything. The bread served with Ethiopian food has a signature sour taste from the fermentation of the staple ingredient, an ancient grain called teff.
