What began in a 100-year-old renovated bank building has since expanded into an entire city block. Located in Historic League City, Butler’s Courtyard offers lovebirds a peaceful destination for picturesque weddings and events. With multiple settings to choose from, couples can make use of al fresco offerings like the gazebo and lushly-landscaped grounds or celebrate indoors, in the rustic chic Great Hall.

Set on 8 acres, in the heart of Montgomery County, The Carriage House offers clients a German-inspired gable barn setting for as many as 350 guests. Inside the warmly-inviting space, clients will find glamorous, glittering chandeliers, soaring ceilings and picture windows alongside stained concrete floors and wood-plank accents.

Cowboy Campout is a beautiful spot about 70 miles northwest of Downtown Houston on the edge of the Sam Houston National Forest. A picturesque garden, developed through the years by the property’s owners, provides the ideal backdrop for an outdoor wedding. Other ceremony options include a garden tent, camp-like wooded area, the barn and more. There is also a charming bed and breakfast that can accommodate up to 12 guests.

Experience a peaceful country wedding setting like no other at the George Ranch Historical Park. With several historic venues located on the 23,000-acre working ranch, couples can mix and match facilities and wedding packages to create a custom and unforgettable wedding day. Facilities including the Beasley Chapel, Post Office, Guy Lodge Hall and the beautiful South Yard are available for both indoor and outdoor events.

Southwest of Houston, Briscoe Manor transports guests to the beautiful countryside on its well-manicured, 50-acre estate. Tie the knot in one of the property’s open-air courtyards, as Longhorns graze in nearby fields, and dance the night away in the spacious Crofton Ballroom or alongside Balke’s Lakeside.

More than just a music venue, Houston’s Firehouse Saloon is a unique site for sold out concerts and special events. Minutes from Downtown, the country honkytonk is one of the city’s most popular spots for two-stepping and live music, but it also doubles as a backdrop for private parties and memorable weddings with space for up to 600 guests and a top-notch sound system.

Built in 1876, the historic Oak Tree Manor sits on its original site on Spring Stuebner Road, surrounded by century-old oak trees. In addition to operating as a bed and breakfast, the grounds have held countless weddings and special events. In recent years, the property also added a reception hall that accommodates 200 guests.

From the time they drive in, beneath a pecan tree canopy, guests will feel miles away from the city at The Orchard at Caney Creek. Tie the knot under the sprawling “Wedding Tree,” dine in the Creekview Room and then dance the night away on the 4,500-square-foot party deck. As a bonus, The Orchard at Caney Creek offers onsite accommodations for up to 40 people.

Originally used by oil companies as a pump station and, later, the Montgomery-area swimming hole, Olde Dobbin Station has only recently entered a new era as an event facility. Built in the early 1900s, the McCoy family restored it to its former glory a few years back, adding vintage elegance in everything from the custom mesquite entry doors and wrought-iron accents to the exposed brick columns and wood-blank ceiling.

Located just outside of Downtown Houston, Station 3 is a distinctive venue with a rich past, having served as one of Houston’s earliest fire stations and now, a special event venue. The 5,800-square-foot building retains its original brickwork and wood floors, as well as an intricately hand-carved exterior that make it one of the most intriguing structures still standing in the city.
