Gateway to Hobby Gets $24M Super Bowl Facelift

Broadway Street, the road leading travelers from I-45 to Hobby Airport, will undergo a $24 million beautification renovation. The two-mile-long corridor will feature over 600 live oak trees, landscaping with 30 different types of local plants and flowers, enhanced crosswalks, and new street light infrastructure. $55M Entertainment Complex Anchored by Gilley’s Taking Shape

Bay Area Houston is one step closer to building a $55 million 50,000-square-foot entertainment venue that features a Gilley’s honky-tonk dance hall, 114-room hotel, conference center, retail and office space, theater, and museum space.
