On November 21, the Houston Zoo will, once again, transform into a winter wonderland with it’s annual Zoo Lights event. Sponsored by TXU Energy, the holiday tradition brings more than two million twinkling lights to the 55-acre expanse.
Stroll through the African Forest, which glows with a larger-than-life revolving ornament and a walk-in snow globe. Beyond the majestic, sparkling oak trees, guests will find favorites like the “Holly Berry,” a 1958 Cadillac decked out in vibrant, dancing lights, and the Enchanted Forest with its life-size, lighted animal sculptures.
Zoo Lights kicks off with a special member preview on November 19 and to the general public on November 21. The event is a separately-ticked event that is held daily from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are on sale now with prices varying based on the day.
