Houston has enjoyed spring-like weather for a while now, but one sure sign that spring is here to stay can be found downtown. City of Houston’s City Hall Farmers Market officially opened this Wednesday, February 24, 2016 to an eager group of shoppers. Now open every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. throughout the season, visitors will find more than 30 vendors lining both sides for City Hall’s reflection pool.
Both locals and visitors alike will find something to enjoy. Find local fresh produce, cheeses, breads, roasted coffees, as well as ready-to-eat and to-go food options.
While downtown, head to other hotspots in the area using the recently expanded Greenlink shuttle, Houston’s downtown bus service which offers free rides to downtown attractions including the Theater District, Historic Market Square, Minute Maid Park, George R. Brown Convention Center, Discovery Green, GreenStreet and City Hall.
