Houston-Havana flights approved for United Airlines

For the first time in 50 years commercial air travel will be offered between Cuba and the U.S. The Department of Transportation tentatively approved a United Airlines application for nonstop travel between Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Havana's José Martí International Airport with flights beginning later this year.
