How to stay connected while supporting our beloved hospitality businesses
Cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Houston and surrounding areas. The health and safety of Houstonians and our visitors is our first priority. As of Tuesday morning, March 24, 2020, County and City leaders ordered all nonessential businesses to keep their workforces at home, and all nonessential gatherings to be temporarily banned.
Houston hotels are exempt from this, as are restaurants, bars and cafés, which, although closed for seated dining, can continue to serve food for delivery and takeout (for more, including tips on how to support local business, check out these restaurant offerings). Theater District and other performing arts, the City’s attractions and museums and all professional sporting events have closed or canceled. Check out these virtual options so you can continue to experience Houston at Home.
This page is dedicated to sharing opportunities for those here to stay connected to the great city of Houston. Below are some resources that not only help with supporting local businesses but also provide entertainment you can still enjoy. We’ll continue to revise these lists, but please feel free to reach out to these businesses directly for any questions.
