Pizza and wine are no exception to this, we live in a place where we have chefs and sommeliers creating unique, varied experiences showcasing different styles and varieties of the same humble core ingredients. This tour just touches on that diversity with stops at New York & Neapolitan style pizzerias, where we will see the differences between the two first hand. What better way to wash down pizza than wine? We’ll explore some of the city’s wine gems and talk about the perfect pizza pairings! Executive Chef William Wright and Sommelier Evan Turner will use their unique and diverse experiences to create a one of a kind pizza and wine experience. Wright's unique influences from his training and work in Italy along with Turner's passion for Greek Wine create a pairing unlike any other. Wright and Evan use their passions to create something worthy of the diversity and notierity that is Houstonian cuisine.
