Super Bowl fever has officially invaded H-Town. With festivities kicking off this weekend, Houston is the center of the action -- and there’s plenty of action for food lovers in the week leading up to the game. Super Bowl Live, the 9-day festival that kicks off Saturday, Jan. 28 at Discovery Green, will treat visitors to free live music, games and attractions. Among them is TRUCK, a huge truck that transforms into a venue for cooking demos and burger throwdowns, in which three chefs will go head to head trying to create an ideal burger for an NFL player.

TRUCK will be located in the Tailgate Lot inside Super Bowl Live and will feature local chefs including Cafe Annie’s Robert Del Grande, David Cordua of Cordua Restaurants, Hunky Dory’s Richard Knight, Fluff Bake Bar’s Rebecca Masson and Vickie Kloeris, a certified food scientist for NASA who will show fans what tailgating in space might look like.

Below is a schedule of the demos you can expect to see. Note that things are subject to change but it should give you a good idea of what to look forward to at Super Bowl Live. Before you go, make sure to read our tips on what you need to know before making your way downtown.
