October 4-5, 2018, marks the 10th anniversary of the Indian Film Festival of Houston (IFFH). Voted Best Film Festival of Houston by readers of Houston Press, IFFH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to education in the fields of film and television and in creating a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and culture by showcasing quality films that honor entertainment industry performers and film makers while promoting the diverse perspectives of the Indian Diaspora.IFFH is an official competitive film festival on the international film festival circuit. Each year, IFFH receives over 100 submissions, from which the jury curates up to 10 films each year. Film-makers from different backgrounds and genres present their cinematic creations for the audiences and frequently have open discussions with the audience in the form of Q&A sessions that are part of this unique festival experience.
