50th Anniversary Moon lecture with Dr. David Kring

On July 20, the evening of the Apollo 11 anniversary, space exploration scientist Dr. David Kring of the Lunar and Planetary Institute will give a talk using The Moon sculpture to point out the moon’s geologic formations, asteroid impacts and historic landing sites. The evening will conclude with a performance by WindSync, an award-winning wind quintet, who will play a piece composed by Marc Mellits to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
