Anat Ronen came to the United States from Israel in 2007 and has become one of the most exciting and highly regarded street artists of our day. Typically she works on large-scale projects that can reach over 30 feet tall, with more than 500 pieces in public spaces including highways, bridges, buildings, churches and schools. Ronen has created two murals on the gallery walls at the Pearl, as well as a large, interactive painting of the Grand Canyon. Images of other work she has done will also be included in the exhibition. Located at 6815 Cypresswood Drive in Spring, the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free. Donations are appreciated and help continue the Pearl’s mission of art, education, and community. For more information please visit www.pearlmfa.org.
