In a program created for the full-dome planetarium projection system--the first presentation to incorporate the immersive Digistar technology, pinball enthusiasts, Ryan Claytor and Nick Baldridge, will share the electrifying history surrounding electro-mechanical coin-operated amusement devices, prior to the dawn of video games in 1978. The presentation will include an exclusive video interview with the most prolific pinball designer of all time Wayne Neyens.Following the program, Claytor and Baldridge will sign copies of the first book of their Coin-Op Carnival series. The publication features full-color illustrations and comics from Ryan Claytor, with articles written by both Claytor and Baldridge.Award-winning comics artist Ryan Claytor is a professor of comics and graphic novels at Michigan State University. Nick Baldridge is host of "For Amusement Only, the E.M. and Bingo Pinball Podcast" and creator of the innovative Multi-Bingo pinball machine.
