Houston’s art scene once again takes the center stage as the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston hosts the legendary work of artist Edgar Degas. The MFAH exhibition will be the first and only U.S. venue to showcase a Degas work of this significance in 3 decades. “Degas: A New Vision” debuts at the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia before opening in Houston October 16, 2016, to January 8, 2017.

The show features 200 original works from public and private collections around the world including paintings, drawings, printmaking, sculpture, and even Degas’ little known passion for photography. The works span from the end of the 19th century to the beginnings of the 20th.
