Empire State Jazz Festival at Discovery Green

The new crown jewel of the Houston Jazz Community the Empire State Jazz Festival is launching its inaugural fest at Discovery Green on Saturday, June 24, 2023 | Gates Noon to 10 P.M.

The festival will feature Houston’s top Jazz musicians as well as a slew of Grammy Award Winning, Billboard Chart Topping Smooth Jazz musicians from across the country. Pack-up your entire family and enjoy some great weather and sensual sounds of smooth jazz next to the Discovery Green pond under the starlight sky. The Empire State Jazz Festival was founded by former NFL veteran Victor Allotey (Kansas City Chiefs/Buffalo Bills), owner of The Empire State Jazz Cafe. The Empire State Jazz Cafe located in the heart of Houston’s Westchase area has quickly become one of Houston’s favorite rooms for musicians to play.
