With the recent successes of Get Out and Us, the horror genre’s long tradition of bringing social commentary into the open through thrills and chills is seeing a revival—and not just on film. Join us for a short, intense generative workshop on creating timely and memorable sources of dread and suspense. We’ll also go over some useful tools for bringing your long-dormant ideas to life, like any good ancient curse. There’s no need to submit work ahead of time; just bring your imagination, your preferred writing tools, and your best maniacal laugh!
